Serve, a charity based in Rushden, were donated £2,000 from the Royal & Select Masters Sesquicentenary fund which is being used to develop new and improved services looking after Family Carers who are the frontline in caring for ageing parents, disabled children throughout the county. It will also be used for developing a service they term Companionship – volunteers who regularly call on the very lonely and home -bound to provide company and friendship.
