LEICESTER COUNCIL GOES VIRTUAL

June 9, 2020 Martin Wilson

On Monday 8 June what should have been the date of Leicester Councils meeting, due to the COVID-19 and the suspension of Masonry, they were not able to meet at London Road, Leicester, but instead they decided to hold a social get together via Zoom and timed so that they could remember absent brethren at 9.00 p.m.

A total of 18 members joined in plus both the District Grand Master and the Deputy District Grand Master as well as a candidate who had been balloted but had not yet been ‘chosen’. The Video call lasted approx 30 mins with a brief update of matters given by both the Thrice Illustrious Master and the District Grand Master.

It was a very happy and informal get together and the next virtual meeting is planned for a months time.
